Thermal expansions of CeCu. and YCu. single crystals have been measured in thetemperature range from 2.0 K to 300 K. It is found that the lincrar thermal expansioncoefficients a, (i=a, b and c) of CeCu. are strongly anisotropic among each crystalaxis reflecting orthorhombic crystal structure. A well-defined antomaly due to antiferromagnetuc ordering is observed near 3.5 K in the cx,-T curves c>f CeCu.. A magneticcontribution to cx,(T ) due to the 4f electron is estimated by comparing the cx,-T curveof CeCu. with that of YCu..
