We have measured the magnetic susceptibility and specific heat of PrCu, singlecrystal, and have determined the crystal electric field scheme of Pr". The experimen-tal results claim the singlet ground state, contrary to the neutron scattering result. Wehave also determined the electronic specific heat coefficient to be 15.8 mJ / mol=K'.
