Neutron Scattering Study of Antiferromagnetic Order in the Heavy Fermion CeInCu_2

Neutron scattering experiment on a single crystal of the heavy-fermion system CelnCu. demonstrated the occurrence of the magnetic order below 2 K which was foundby the previous NMR measurement. The magnetic order is a short-range order of thetype 1 structure of an fcc antiferromagnet in which moments parallel to (0 0 1) aremodulated in the [0 0 1] direction. The moment estimated from the integrated inten-sity is 7v=0.4080.07 7t., which is about one half of the moment of the F. groundstate.neutron scattering, antiferromagnetic order, heavy fermion, CeInCu.
