Magnetic and Neutron Scattering Study of One-Dimensional Heisenberg Antiferromagnet CsVCl_3

Following the magnetic and X-ray crystallographic study on CsVCl. by Niel et at.,we performed susceptibility and neutron scattering measurements on the single crystalwe prepared. A weak quasi-elastic scattering showing one-dimensional correlation hasbeen found at temperatures lower than room temperature. At tenaperatures lower than7'.=l3.3 K, a 3 D order with triangular spin arrangement has been found. Un-expectedly, the (l/3,1/3,1)M magnetic Bragg scattering intensity starts decreasing atabout 2 K down to 0.3 K.
