Reexamination of Anomalous Magnetic Intensity in 2D Ferromagnet K_2CuF_4

The Knight shift and the nuclear spin-lattice relaxation rate (1 /T. ) of "'Pd nuclei hasbeen measured in an exchange-enhanced paramagnet Pd metal, in the temperaturerange between 4.2 and 300 K. Frorn the Knight shift measurement tlae core polarizationhyperfine field is obtained to be -(3.39-l-0.03)x 10'0e/pg. I/T. is proportional totemperature with the value, 1/(7'.7')=1.35-l-0.03sec 'K ', below about 150 K,whileI/T. begins to deviate from this relation to smaller values at higher temperature.Relaxation rate due to d-electron spin, (1/7'.).j, was obtained by subtracting theestimated values of other contributions from measurecl 1/T.. Frorn the value and thetemperature dependence of (1 /T. )a, we conclude that (1 /T.) is mostly determined by thelong wavelength component of the spin fluctuation in the whole temperature range.
