A facile conduction-type cryostat for neutron diffraction experiments is designed. This portable cryostat is much easier to operate than the conventional type. Liquid helium of about 2 liters can stay for fifty hours or more, and this cryostat is used at any temperature between the room temperature and 4.2 K.
