Universality classes of successive magnetic phase transitions in the triangular latticeantiferromagnet CsMnI, are studied by measuring the critical exponents y and v usingneutron scattering. The critical exponents of the successive transitions at T.. = 11.2 Kand T..=S.2K, which correspond to orderings of magnetic moments parallel andperpendicular to the c-axis, respectively, are determined to be 7,=1.l2f0.07, v,0.59;0.03 (I..) and y. = 1.04:0.03, v. =0.56:0.02 (I..). These values and thep exponents /7,=0.32f0.0l, p. =0.35 +o.oz measured in our previous work do notagree with a theory which predicted the three dimensional XY universality for boththe transitions. This is in contrast with the satisfactory agreement of critical ex-ponents of CsMnBr, with a theory of the novel three-dimensional Z. X S. universality.A uniform magnetization parallel to the c-axis in terms of the three sublattices in thec-plane is found to increase slowly below T...[universality class, critical exponents, magnetic phase transition, triangular Rat- lg Lice antiferromagnet, CsMnI, neutron scatteringl
