^<133>Cs NMR Study of Magnetic Ordered Phases in a Triangular Lattice Antiferromagnet CsNiCl_3

The successive magnetic phase transitions (7'.. and T..) and magnetic properties ofCsNiCl., a Heisenberg antiferromagnet on the triangular lattice, have been in-vestigated by means of the nuclear magnetic resonance of "'Cs. In the low tempera-lure phase (7'< T..), the 120' structure of Ni" spins was confirmed by the angulardependence of NMR spectra. In the intermediate phase (7'..< T< T..), the observedangular dependences of NMR spectra can not be explained by the simple componentdisorder model which has been proposed previously. We interpret the NMR results inthe intermediate phase by the component disorder model with the quasi-degeneracy.It was found that the quasi-degeneracy due to the freedom of rotation of the 120'spin structure in the *c-plane survives beyond T.. down to about 3 K.[triangular lattice, antiferromagnet, CsNiCl, successive phase transitions, l[ NMR, spin structure, frustration, quasi-degeneracyJ
