Magnetoresistance and de Haas-van Alphen Effect of Quasi-Two-Dimensional Metal Ag_2F

We have studied the Fermi surface of the quasi-two-dimensional metal Ag_2F by use of the transverse magnetoresistance and the de Haas-van Alphen effect. The cylindrical Fermi surface perpendicular to the conductive plane was established. This Fermi surface is originally spherical but both upper and lower parts are truncated by the Brillouin zone boundary planes, and contains one electron per formula.
