NMR of Cs^<133> in Ferroelectric CsH_2PO_4

Temperature variation of the electric field gradient tensor at the Cs"' sites inCsH.P0. has been measured at 4.5 MHz both in the paraelectric and ferroelectricphases (7'..= - 121.0'C). The tensor components, V.., V, V.. and V.. decrease inabsolute value with the decrease of temperature, showing no anomaly at T.., and V.,V,. are not zero in the ferroelectric phase only. The results can be interpretedconsistently if the crystal structure is P2./m in the )oaraelectric phase and P2. in theferroelectric phase.
