Enhancement of Superconducting Transition Temperature in CeCu_2Ge_2 under High Pressures

Enhancetnent of strpercondtrcting transition tenaperature T. is confirmed at arotrnd 16 GPa inthe presstrre-induced supercondtrctor CeCtr3Gez. The superconducting H. - T. phase diagranusat the IOXV-V'. and high-'f. pressure regions indicates that the heavy qtrasi particles form thesinglet Cooper pairs. At both low-']. and high-]. presstrre regions, Fermi liquid behavior ofp N AT' is observed only at low temperatures below 1 K in the normal state induced by theexternal field above H.7. At 21 GPa where the strpercondtrctivity disappears down to 50 mK,the temperattrre region following p x AT' increases drastically Ulp to 40 K and the coefficient Adecreases rapidly. These restrlts indicate that tlae strongly correlated electrons are responsibleessentially for the appearance of strperconductivity in this systena.
