The first-order valence transition of YbInCu. with Cl5b-type crystal structure wasinvestigated by Cu nuclear quadrupole resonance (NQR). Analyses of the resonancefrequency and the spin-lattice relaxation time microscopically prove the transitionfrom the local moment state with stable Yb" to the Fermi liquid state at T.40-50 K.
