Spin Correlation and Superconductivity in High-T_c Oxides

^<63>Cu NQR and NMR and ^<17>O NMR studies are presented for La_<2-x>Sr_xCuO_4, YBa_2Cu_3O_7 and Tl_2Ba_2CuO_<6+y>. In the superconducting state, the T-dependence of the Knight shift has shown that the superconducting energy gap is larger in the CuO_2 (2Δ/k_B T_c=4.4-4.9) than the BCS prediction, being consistent with an s-wave model. In contrast, the T_1 result below T_c cannot be interpreted by a simple s-wave model. In the normal state, T^<-1>_1 of Cu is strongly enhanced by antiferromagnetic (AF) spin correlation and its T-dependence is related to the T-dependence of the staggered susceptibility x_Q (T) at the zone boundary. The large enhancement of x_Q is remarkable for the superconducting compound, which is considered to play a key-role for the anomalous normal and superconducting properties in high-T_c oxides. The correlation between T_c and AF spin correlation is discussed.
