Neutron Bragg-Case Rocking Curves from the Front and Back Surfaces of a Silicon Crystal Plate

The dynamical diffraction phenomena of neutrons in the Bragg-case are studiedexperimentally by using a monolithic double-crystal system. The Ill diffractionsof silicon are used in a parallel setting with ,ll=2.44A. 'I'he rocking curves ofthe reflected beam from the back surface and the transmitted beam through theback surface are observed together with the rocking curve of the reflected beamfrom the front surface.
