The ordered phase concerning the Ag distribution of superionic conductorAg.SI was discovered below 157 K. The transition heat and the entropy changewere measured to be 0.23kcal/mol and ].44cal/mo].deg. respectively. Thecrystal structure of the newly found 7-phase was studied by X-ray diffractionmethod. The space group of the 7-phase may be Cf-R3 and the transition to the/7-phase is of first order but is very close to the second order one.
