Effects of Magnetic Fields on Inelastic Scattering Time in Two-Dimensional Weak Localization

Effects of magnetic fields on the inelastic scattering time, r., are examined intwo-dimensional weakly localized regime by extending the calculation ofFukuyama and Abrahams. In spite of the strong field dependence of r., the use ofthe constant o':, the zero field value, is verified in the expression of the magne-toresistance, which have been applied successfully. Higher order interaction effectsare also investigated in the same framework and are found not to affect theconclusion in an essential way.
