The conductance and its fluctuations in mesoscopicv NS (N is a normal xnetal am?d Sis a superconductor) wires are studied numerically. It is SIIOWII that the coxuductauacefluctuations in the NS wire is enhanced as compared with an ordinary normal naetalwire (N xvire) by abotut a factor two. For the conductance itself, an enhancemexatwhich has been expect<:d is found to vanish when the Iengtla of the normal segment uslonger than the mean free path.
