Dielectric constant along the direction perpendicular to the (001) plane incrystals of {(NH.).H(SO.).}. . {(ND.).D(SO.).}. system wag m?:asured forvarious x values in a temperature range from liqujd nitrogen temperature toroom temperature. The crystal has two ferroelectric phases in the ranjge of .v>0.9and one ferroelectfic phase in the range of x<0.9. It is found frorn the phasediagram that the normal crystal (N11.).H(SO.). undergoes a ferroelectric phasetransition at about -210'C, besides four non-ferroelectric transiticens reportedpreviously. Saturated value of spontaneous polarization estimated as 2L function ofx is about 1.4 7?C/cm" for (NH.)3H(SO.). and about 2.5 zC/cm" fc>r (ND,03D(S03)j in the lowest ferroelectric phase. There is practically no isotc?pe effect onnon-ferroelectric transitions, in contrast with large isotope effect on ferroelectricones.
