Effect of hydrostatic pressure on the antiferroelectric phase transitions inNH4H.AS0. and deuterated analogue (deuterium concentration x803) wasstudied by dielectric constant measurements at high pressures up to about0.8 GPa.The transition temperature [inearly decreases with increasing pressure with theratios of - 19.7 K GPa- ' and - 14.5 K GPa ' for NH.H2AS0. and the deuter-ated compound, respectively'. The pressure effect is compared with previouslyreported results of other KHpPO,(-type ferro- and antiferroelectric crystals.
