Dielectric Properties of Single Crystal AgNO_2 in Low Temperature Region

Dielectric constants of AgN0. were measured along the three crystallographicaxes below room temperature. The dielectric constant along the a-axis increasesmonotonically with decreasing temperature, while that along the Z>-axis decreasesmonotonically. The dielectric constant along the c-axis first decreases withdecreasing temperature, then turns to increases at about 1 7.5 K. No anomaly wasfound at around 40 K where a phase transition vzas suggested by Makishima et al.(Bull. Am. Phys. Soc. 10 (1965) 681).
