Ferroelectricity of Deuterated Triammonium Deuterium Disulfate and Isotope Effect on Ferroelectric Activity

The dielectric properties of deuterated triammonium deuteriutm disulfate have beenstudied at 1 aim in the temperature region between - 17O'C and 25'C. It has beenfound that the crystal is ferroelectric in two phases. The spontaneous polarization is2.15 pCou1?cm ' at - 170'C. The present results indicate a lat'ge isotope effect onferroelectric activity.
