Dielectric, AC calorirnetric and X-ray investigations were carried otrt for the single crystal of(CH3)2NH2H2ASO4. It xvas fotrnd that the crystal tmndergoes the ferroelectric phase trarrsitionof second order at 2T4.5 K(:Tc), and has a sr>ontaneotrs r>olarization Ps =4.5 #C/Clll' at 93 K.The phase transition of (CH3)2NH2H2ASO,1 is characterized by the sytaumetry change frona thenaaonoclinic space group P2) / n to Pn. The tenaperattrre dependence of the static dielectric con-stant eg observed for (CH3)2NH2H2ASO4, which shoxvs devi?ttion frona the Cturie-NVeiss l2LXV, canbe described well above T. except near T. by the expression based on the quasi-one-diraaensionalIsing tnodel.
