The theory of antiferroelectric phase transition of ADP is extended to the case of positive ε_0 (ε_0 is the Slater configurational energy) and is utilized for the explanation of a recent ESR observation on NH_4H_2AsO_4 that there are more up-down configurations of H_2AsO_4 radicals than expected from the Nagamiya theory of antiferroelctricity.
