Correlation among Long-Range Ordered States Revealed by Pressure versus Temperature Phase Diagram in URu_2Si_2(Condensed Matter : Electronic Structure, Electrical, Magnetic and Optical Properties)

We present a pressure-temperature phase diagram of URu_2Si_2 consisting of four states; i.e., a superconducting state, a hidden ordered (HO) state, a large-moment antiferromagnetically (LMAF) ordered state induced under pressure, and a ferromagnetic state that is presumably due to crystal imperfections. Our major observation is that the superconductivity does not coexist with the LMAF state. Provided that the ferromagnetism is associated with a tiny-moment antiferromagnetically ordered state, we argue that the hidden order parameter has a different symmetry from that of the antiferromagnetic states, which implies that there is no critical end point in a first-order phase line separating HO from LMAF in the phase diagram.
