The superconducting transition temperatures and the lattice parameters ofY.Ba.(Cu. .Al.).0, and Y.Ba.(Cu. .Zn.).0, compounds were measured. The crystalsymmetry was found to transform from the orthorhombic form to the tetragonal inthe AN compound when x is increased, while the orthorhombic structure is maintainedin the Zn compound.high-7'. superconductivity, YBa.Cu,0, , AN, Zn substitution, Crystal structure
