NMR of Cu^<63> in Dilute Cu-Mn, -Fe, and -Co Alloys

NMR measurements of Cu^<63> in Cu-0.025 at% Mn, -0.05 at% Fe, and -0.1 and -0.5 at% Co alloys were performed in the temperature range from 1.4 to 0290 K. A small diamagnetic deviation of the Knight shift due to magnetic impurities is observed. The average spin polarization of the conduction electrons far from the impurity atoms is determined to be antiparallel to the impurity spin. The temperature dependences of the Knight shift and the line width due to the magnetic impurities are in agreement with that of susceptibility.
