NMR Study in Dilute <CrV>___-Co and <MoRe>___-Co Alloys

Magnetic state of Co impurity in Cr. .V.Co and Mo. ,Re,Co alloys were in-vestigated systematically by NMR. In CrVCo alloys, the internal field at "Co in magnetically ordered state decreaseswith the increase of x associated with the decrease of Co moment. "Co resonances dueto nonmagnetic Co atoms were observed for x >0.2. The Knight shift, K, and nuclearspin-lattice relaxation time, T., show that Co atoms become gradually magnetic when xdecreases below x=O.4. For x=O.2 and 0.25 alloys, the results of NMR and magneticsusceptibility indicate the coexistence of magnetic and nonmagnetic Co atoms. In MoReCo alloys, K and T. show that Co atonrs become gradually nonmagneticwith the increase of x. K and I. in both alloy systems were analyzed using the modified Korringa relationwhich was substantiated by Shiba for the ground state of the Anderson model.
