Temperature Dependence of NMR Spectrum at Cu(2) Site in Antiferromagnetic Yba_2Cu_3O_<6.1>

The temperature dependence of the NMR spectrum at the Cu(2) site in antiferromagnetic YBa.Cu,0. . was observed from 1.5 K to 77 K, well below the N<:el temperature, in which the nuclear Zeeman and quadrupole frequencies, v. and v, werededuced. The frequency v.( T ) follows well the relation (v.(0) - v.( T )) / v.(0) =A T'above IOK. The parameter values are evaluated as Q: 1.87, ,4=6.83 x no ' (K ')and v.(0)=89.80(MHz). The fact that the exponent (Y is close to 2 suggests thepresence of gapless spin wave excitations. The coefficient A is two orders ofmagnitude larger than the value roughly estimated from the result of the neutron scat-tering experiment, which suggests the presence of larger low-energy excitations in thespun wave spectrum.YBa.Cu.O., antiferromagnet, NMR, sublattice magnetization
