Epitaxial Cr/Sn natnltilayers cor't?posed of Cr(001) layers and very thin Sn layers xvere grownon IVIgO(001) strbstrates. The taa?tgtaetic properties of the prepared rntmltilatyers were sttrdied by"'Sn IN/I6ssbatmer spectroscopy. X4agnetic hyper[itae fields of 11 x l3T, xvhich are larger than thevaltre reported for dissolved Sn sites in a Cr rtaatrix, were f'otrnd to be indtmced at tl're Sn ntrclearsites of [Cr(Zc.)/Sn(2A)] ttatrltilaxyers (Zcr : 6, 10, 20, and 3OA) at room teunperatture. Therestrlt indicates that the naagnetic ordering teua?peratture of the Cr layers is tntrch higher thanthe Nee[ texnperatvxre of bvxlk Cr ('Z'N ::- 311 K). Possible unagnetic strtrctttres in the Cr layers areinferred frouta the size arad direction of' tlae utaagnetic hyperfirre field transf'erred at the Sn nttclearsites.
