A Low-Temperature ^<119>Sn Mossbauer Study of ErPd_2Sn

M6ssbauer measurements on "'Sn in ErPd.Sn have been carried out at a muchlower temperature than the N<:el temperature, 1.0 K. The transferred hyperfine fieldin the antiferromagnetic state is observed to be 7 k0e. By applying external fields at4.2 K, the hyperfine field at the paramagnetic saturation is estimated to be 50 kOe.Comparing these values, the Er spin arrangement is discussed.
