Kondo-Like Scattering Correlated with the Giant Magnetoresistance in Au/Fe Superlattices

The magnetoresistance (MR) at 4.2 K and the temperature dependence of resistivity have been investigated for Au/Fe epitaxial superlattices as a function of Au layer thickness. We found -log (T) temperature dependence of resistivity below about 10K. The magnitude oscillates as a function of Au layer thickness in phase with the MR oscillation.
