Static Spin Correlations in a Diluted Two-Dimensional Ferromagnet K_2Cu_xZn_<1-x>F_4 Including the Percolation Vicinity

The static spin correlations in a diluted two-dimensional Heisenberg ferromag-net K2CU,ZO(1-,)F4 have been studied. At low temr>eratures 7'<3.5K, themagnetic heat capacity C-(T) per mole for Cu" tons in the pure system (,r= 1.0)has been revealed to obey the spin wave theory for a two-dimensional I-Ieisenbergferromagnet with the nearest neighbour exchange constant J/k.=11.4.50.4K., Near the percolation limit (.X'.=0.59), the absolute value of C-(T) in the sametemperature range has been found to agree with the exact solution for the one-dimensional Heisenberx ferromasnet with the same interaction term as in thepure system. The quantities of C-(T) for ,c=0.36 and x=O.26 are discussed incomparison with the theoretical results for the finite size of open chains andclosed rings, by taking account of the possible shape of the magnetic clusterspresented by the computer generated random system in two dimensions.
