Theory of Dielectric Susceptibility of RDP-ADP Mixed Crystals

The cluster theory which is developed to describe the glassy phase ofRb. .(NH.),H.P0. is extended to explain the anomalous behaviour in the dielectricsusceptibility X of this phase. It is shown that X begins to deviate from the normalvalue of the paraelectric phase at and below the glass transition temperature T., andthe deficient part of the susceptibility below T. is precisely proportional to the glassorder parameter properly redefined.
