Mobilities of No' and Ar' ions in He gas were studied at 82K. An injected-iondrift tube mass spectrometer, the drift tube of w,'hich can be cooled with liquidnitrogen was developed for this purpose. The nuobility curves obtained have abump at interrnediate E/N, and the zero-field redtuced mobilities have approachedto the polarization limits. The He peculiarities wzhich have been known for longtime are explained clearly by the temperature effc:cts found in this work.
