State-to-State Cross Sections of Inelastic Processes in Collisions of Kr^+ with N_2,NO,CO and O_2

Excitation and de-excitation processes in the collisions of Kr" with diatomicmolecules have been studied with an high resolution ion energy-loss spectrometer. Ab-solute cross sections for the fine-structure transitions in the projectile and the vibra-tional excitations in the targets have been measured for N. and NO. For CO, the crosssections of the coupled transitions of the fine-structure transitions with the vibra-tional excitation have been determined as well as those for the pure transitions of eachof them. For 02, the cross sections of the coupled transitions of the fine-structure Iran-sitions with the vibrational and electronic excitation in the target molecules have beenmeasured together with those of the pure transitiotxs.
