The group velocity of excitonic polariton in CttCl has been measured at 4.2 Kusing picosecond light pulses. It is derived by measuring both the time delay oflight pulses and the thickness of samples. Experimental results are well explainedby the dispersion relation of excitonic polariton including spatial dispersion. Inaddition, the translational effective mass of exciton in Curl is directly derived,i.e. W=(2.OfO.l)m..
