• Transverse spin relaxation processes of the F.(Li) centers in KCI and KBr atLHeT have been studied by the following three methods ; cw rrticrowave saturationof steady-state ESR intensity and that of steady-s1.ate ENDOR intensity, and thesaturation recovery of transient ESR signal. Most of analyses are carried out bymodifying the Clough and Scott form which includes two sorts of relaxationprocesses via spin-packets specified by half widths of (27T'.) and (2/T;), respec-tively. T5- and T.'-packets arc caused by static and fluctuating; motions of the Li"ion, respectively. T'. are short of 10-'xI0 ' sec for both crystals. In KBr,I?<<7';:10-' sec, so that a hole-burning of the 7'.9-packet facilitates the ENDORobservation even at 1.8 K. In KCI, T'.zT;, the 7'f-packet is too wide to burna hole: this leads to disappearance of the ENDOR at LHeT.
