• The intensity of the F center emission in KCI is reduced by simultaneous irradiationof 1.06 qm pulse from an Nd:YAG laser, whose second harmonic pulse is used for theF excitation. The reduction is related to the stimulated emission in the relaxed excitedstate of the F center.
