Using the technique of positron annihilation, the angular correlation curves ofHg-In and Hg-II alloys have been measured in the liquid state. It has beenfound that the Fermi cut-off increases sharply in the vicinity of 20 at '79 of In andTl in these alloys, which was discussed in connection with the electronic chargetransfer between Hg and In or Tl atoms.
