Shear and Young's modulus of hydrogenated Pd alloys have been measuredas a function of temperature and hydroger)-concentration. From these meas-urements, the bulk-modulus was calculated in order to evaluate the harmonicterm of lattice energy. The anharmonic term was also obtained from the meas-urement of thermal expansion. The value of harmonic term decreases withincreasing hydrogen-concentration. The anharmonic term is slightly changed byhydrogenation. These behaviors were interpreted on the basis of the electrontheory.
