Canton profiles of CN/D-crystalline and amorphous Si.N. as well as a- and p-Sj.N. were measured using 59.54 keV y-rays from "'Am source and a Ge(Li)detector. The analyses of Compton profiles suggest that the valences of nitrogenand silicon are 3 and 4, respectively, which form the covalent nature of the chemi-cat bond. ?.
