Measurements on the temperature dependence of two-photon angular correlation of the positron annihilation for liquid gallium have been made and calculations of the positron annihilatiln in liquid gallium have been performed using a trapping model. The agreement between experimeng and theory is satisfactory, which suggests that the positron in liquid gallium prefers to annihilate in the region of low local ionic density resulting from thermal fluctuations.
