Partially Relaxed States of Plasmas in Two Different Types of Devices

概要

Experimental data on two quite different types of devices, a simple toroidal Z pinch without toroidal field coils and a reversed field pinch (RFP), are analyized by using the partially relaxed state model (PRSM). It is shown that the experimental data on both two devices fit fairly well theoretical curves by the PRSM with common parameter range included in the model, suggesting that some common physical process of relaxation is taking place together with some common loss process.
