<原著>α-L-Iduronidaseの研究(第1報) : ラット各種臓器中のα-L-iduronidaseの存在とβ-D-glucuronidaseとの比較

α-L-Iduronidase (α-L-I) activity was measured on various tissues in normal rats, by using phenyl-α-L-iduronide as substrate. β-D-Glucuronidase (β-D-G) was also measured on the same tissues for comparison. Spleen showed the highest activity on both enzymes, and the α-L-I activities of the kidney, lung, thymus and small intestine were in relatively high level. However the brain, pancreas, muscle and serum were low in the enzyme activities. α-L-I activity was lower than β-D-G activity in most of the tissues examined in this study, especially in the liver.
