Anisotropic reflectivity spectra of an Ag.F crystal have been investigated forlinearJy polarized light with the electric vectors both parallel and perpendicularto the c-axis. Steep rises of the Drude-type reflectivity are found at 2.7 and 0.9 eVfor E A- c and E//c srectra, resrectivelv, and are interr>reted as beinn due to theanisotropy in plasma frequency of electronS in the conduction band. In thespectrum for E @- c, an extremely sharp dip of the reflectivity is observed at 2.9eV which is similar to the absorption window of silver metal.
