The Scaling Exponents of Intermittent Fully Developed Turbulence Based on a New Model : Condensed Matter and Statistical Physics

We calculated the various scaling exponents of intermittent fully developed turbulence based on a new model with one parameter proposed previously. All exponents exhibit a crossover from the Kolmogorov to intermittent scaling; the lower order moments obey the Kolmogorov scaling, while the higher order ones are deviated from it. Those exponents fit experiment fairly well. Experiments and simulations which make distinction between the log-normal, β- and present models are suggested.
