• TXX'O conditional averages for the longittrdinal velocity incr'etaaent u. are considered: 7z('u..) isthe axzerage of the difference of the Laplacian of' Clue velocity field with the u.. value fixed, whileg(u..) is the corresponding one of' the sqttare of' the difl'erence of' the velocity gradient. Thefitting f'ortntrlae ['or h and .g 2lICl derived f'or the 512' d?rta of the direct ntrraaerical simulation.The computed PDF is characterized as (l) the Gatrssian distribtrtion for snualler anuplittrdes, (2)the exponential distribution for larger ones, and (3) the stretched exponential distribtrtion f'orinterrnediate ones dtre to a f'actor in front of' the exponential ftrnction.
