Parameters of Cu Nuclear Spin Hamiltonian in Mixed Crystals (CH_3NH_3)_2Cu (Cl_<1-x>Br_x)_4

NMR measurements of Cu ntuclei are carried out in the ferromagnetic region ofthese mixed crystals to clarify the dependences of the hyperfine field, If., andthe quadrupole frequency, v,), on the surrounding ligand ions. Since the Cu"ground state is given by d(x' - y'), the obtained values of H.. and v. are due tothe number, n, of Br ions in the four ligands on tire x- and .)'?-axes and are fittedby the experimental formula, i'Ig.=H':.(0)-f-Af.n (/Z: x, y, z) and P.1,=PQ(0)-I-k.n, where k is the proportional constant. The differences between the hyperfinefield along the ,v-axis and the y-axis are observed and are interpreted by thedeviation from the tetragonal crystalline field.
