Temperature Dependences of Electrical Resistivity in MnP

Temperattu'e depende?xces of electrical resistivities i?x the screw-, ferronaagnetic-and farx-phases of N1nP have beexa studied. In the screw phase, T" dependencesare observed itx tlxe a-, b- and c-axis resistivities Lip t6 about 50 K and the coeffi-ciezxts are 4.3, 2.2 and 2.2 x 10 =' 7z0cxn/deg', respectively. III the ferromag?aetic.and faza-phases, too, the T" depetxdences are obseived atad the coefficiexxts are 4.0atxd 5.2 X 10=' 7zflcnn/deg', respectively. The observaticin of the T" dependence indiffereuxt ntagnetic plaases auxd the large valtue of the coefficients seem to strggestthat the electrozx-electron scatteriaug is domiuaant at low tenxperature azad the Fernaisurfaces are constructed o?a]y wi th the d like electrons. This is cotasistent with theresults of electrotxic specific heat xneasurez'taents done before.
