The relaxation time 1.0 of dipolar energy of proton spins in some ammoniumsalts has been compared with the relaxation time T., measured in the rotatingframe. We have found, in corntradiction to the usual relation, that Tg. is largerthan T The unusual relation between T.. and T., might be attributed to thelp-inter-molecular interaction among NH.-tons and is not due to the effect of thetunneling motion of NH.-ion.
